TASCO Inland Australia supports Australia's new privacy legislation and intends to fully comply with the 10 National Privacy Principles (NPP's) published under schedule 3 of the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 .

Should any request be made by a private individual or customer for information under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 , the Privacy Officer will endeavor to supply that information within 5 working days of the request. Supply of data is subject to the provisions of NPP 6.

All staff dealing with company computers that have access to customer data will be given training and procedures on how to deal with that data in order to comply with the 10 NPP's particularly NPP's 4 & 5 concerning "Data Security" and "Openness".

No data will be kept on TASCO Inland computers , servers, or networks about customers or other individuals that does not relate to or which is not to be used for the normal commercial operations of TASCO Inland.

Regular reviews should be carried out of customer data stored on TASCO Inland computers and every effort made to ensure the accuracy and currency of that data at all times.

 

A copy of this policy has been given to all staff and can be made available to any other interested party upon request.
